Welcome to Heart of Texas Lake Resort, one of the most popular Texas Vacation Resorts in central Texas.  Choose from 12 lakefront condos, 2 lakefront rental houses, 7 rental cabins, a lodge with 5 motel style rooms, and 24 RV spaces.  A Waterfront Pavilion that seats 70 to 90 people is available for group gatherings.

There are many activities for family fun here at Heart of Texas Lake Resort.  A swimming pool, lighted fishing dock, boat slips, boat launch, 18-hole miniature golf course, game arcade, volley ball washers, and a large shaded lawn for games and picnics all are provided for your enjoyment.

The Heart of Texas Lake Resort is located on the east side of the Colorado arm of Lake LBJ about 15 to 20 minutes from Burnet, Marble Falls and Kingsland in central Texas.  They are only about one hour northwest of Austin, 85 minutes north of San Antonio, and 4 to 4 1/2 hours from Dallas/Ft. Worth and Houston.

The resort is located on 7.5 acres, shaded by gigantic 100 year old Pecan trees, and has 510 feet of shaded waterfront on Lake LBJ.

Lake LBJ is one of the seven Highland Lakes in the Texas Hill Country.  A normally constant level lake, Lake LBJ offers ideal conditions for boating, waterskiing, jet skiing, swimming and fishing.  Boaters love Lake LBJ because it is usually not too crowded and has many coves. 

	The fishing is great at the Heart of Texas Lake Resort! You can fish anytime, day or night, from our lighted, covered fishing dock.  The fishing dock has a convenient cleaning sink.  You can also fish along our 510 feet of shaded waterfront on Lake LBJ. We sell bait and tackle at our resort.
	Whether you are swimming in the lake or in our swimming pool, you will have fun at Heart of Texas Lake Resort. The photo at the left shows part of the swimming pool with the lake in the background.

From Heart of Texas Lake Resort you can boat on the Colorado River, up the Llano River, and on down Lake LBJ for over 20 miles all the way to Horseshoe Bay.

Dock your boat at one of our boat slips.

We have boats slips available by reservation.  They are $8 per day when available.  You can launch your boat at our boat launch located by the boat slips.  If you do not have a boat and want to rent a boat or jet ski, one can be rented locally.

 

Winter Specials October 1 thru April 30 Sunday thru Thursday Nights Pay for two nights and get the third night free. Friday and Saturday Nights If you rent Friday and Saturday night together you get a 20% discount. Excludes holidays:  Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, Easter and Spring Break You must ask for discount at time of booking to receive the discount.

 

Lakefront Pavilion

  

The pavillion is lakefront with an open air design.  It has water
and elecricity and is conveniently located to the condos and
RV park.  It seats 70-90 people and is great for family reunions.

Lakefront Vacation Condos:
Our lakefront condos are a great way to stay at the lake.  They offer all of the conveniences of home and the fun of being at the lake, too.  There are 9 one bedroom, one bath units and 3 two bedroom, one bath units.  All have full sized, completely furnished kitchens, a dining area, a large living room with a full sized futon couch with very comfortable 9" mattress, and queen sized beds.

The one bedroom condos are for 2 people but can sleep up to 4 people with the use of the futon sofa/bed.

  
New 2 Bedroom Condos

The brand new 2 bedroom condos can sleep up to 7 people with a king-sized bed, a queen-sized bed, a full-sized futon sofa bed and a single futon sofa bed.

The deck at the rear of the condos overlooks Lake LBJ and is shaded by the Pecan trees.  The condos also offer a view of the lake from the living rooms.

Condo Rental Prices:
One Bedroom - $120/night for 2 people, $10 for each additional person age 3 and up, maximum of 4 people.
Two Bedroom - $180/night for 4 people, $10 for each additional person age 3 and up, maximum of 7 people.

Three night minimum stay on weekends from Memorial Day through Labor Day weekends.   Two night minimum stay at all other times with advance reservations. 

Holiday Rates: including Spring Break, Memorial Day Weekend, July 4th, Labor Day Weekend, Thanksgiving, and Christmas:  Condos $25 extra each night.

Winter Texans -  October through April
One Bedroom - Two Person Maximum - $775 per month including electricity.   Overnight Guests are $3 per night each with a maximum of 4 people.
Two Bedroom - 2 people $875 month, 3 people $900 month, 4 people $925 month including electricity.  Overnight Guests are $3 per night each with a maximum of 7 people.

Damage/Cleaning deposit of $100 for monthly renters.

Lake Rental Cabins

Lake Rental Cabins:
Heart of Texas Lake Resort has 7 rental cabins located near the swimming pool and about 60 yards from the beautiful waterfront.  All cabins are completely furnished, have fully equipped kitchenettes, showers, and come with linens, TV with cable, barbeque grills, and heat and air conditioning.

Lake Vacation House

The kitchens of both lake houses are completely furnished and have a microwave, coffee maker, and toaster.  Also provided are: barbeque grill,  cable TV, and vacuum cleaner.  We supply the complete setup of linens.  You will find everything you need, just bring the food and drinks.

Lake Vacation House No. 9:
The lake vacation house at Heart of Texas Lake Resort is located facing the lake about 40 yards from the shore and has a lake view from several rooms inside the home and from the large deck facing the water.  A boat slip is included with the rental of the lake house and the lighted fishing dock is only a few steps away.

It is a 3 bedroom, 3 bath house with central heat and air conditioning.  There are king sized beds in two bedrooms, a queen sized bed in one bedroom, and has two futons and six twin beds in the living room.  It is ideal for two couples who would like to have company during their stay.  The lake house can sleep up to 16 people.

Lake Vacation House No. 9 Prices:
The lake house rents for $350 per night for up to 8 people.
Each additional person age 3 and up - $10 per night each
Three night minimum stay on weekends from Memorial Day through Labor Day.  Two night minimum stay on all other weekends with advance reservations.

Lake Vacation House No. 8:
This lake house is only 70 yards from the lake and has a lake view from a private porch.  This newly remodeled house sits alone and is next to the playground.   It is a small 2 bedroom house with one bathroom with a tub/shower combination.  It has two queen size beds.  There is a full size futon in the living room for extra guests.

Lake Vacation House No. 8 Prices:

Lake Vacation House No. 8 rents for $130 per night for up to 2 people.
Each additional person over 2 people age 3 and up - $10 per night each
Three night minimum stay on weekends from Memorial Day through Labor Day.  Two night minimum stay on all other weekends with advance reservations.
Damage/cleaning deposit - $130

Holiday Rates: including Spring Break, Memorial Day Weekend, July 4th, Labor Day Weekend, Thanksgiving, and Christmas:  Lake House $25 extra each night.

Winter Texans -  $550 per month plus electric for 2 people - plus $50 extra for up to 6 people, from October through April.  Maximum of 6 people.

The Lodge

NEW - The Lodge is a new addition to our resort.   It has a beautiful view of the lake and the swimming pool from inside The Lodge and outside on the twelve foot covered porch.  It has a large living room with a fully equipped kitchen, two handicap accessable bathrooms with showers, a 60" TV with cable, DVD and VCR, a fireplace, AC/heat, and two full size sleeper sofas.

The Lodge has 5 separate motel style rooms equipped with full bath/shower (one handicap accessible).  The rooms each have a king sized bed and a full sized futon couch.

The lodge will sleep up to 24 people and will seat up to 75 people.

All linens except for lake and swimming pool towels are furnished.  A small refrigerator, microwave, barbeque grills, coffee maker and cable TV are furnished. 

The price is $850/night for The Lodge.

A deposit of $425 will hold your reservation. Great for family reunions, company getaways, wedding parties, and youth retreats.

RV Park

 

RV Park:
Our RV Park has a beautiful location just 90 to 100 yards from the lake.  Each of the 24 spaces have 4-way hookups with 30 and 50 AMP electricity, septic, water, cable TV, phone jacks.  There is a public pay phone outside of our office.

RV guests have complete use of the resort facilities: restrooms, hot showers, laundry, boat ramp, lighted fishing dock, horsehoes, basketball, shuffleboard, swings, picnic tables at each site, and a large swimming pool.   We have an 18 hole miniature golf course at $2.50 per person.  Boat slip rentals are available at $8 per day.

RV Park Prices:
Base rate of $30 per night is for two people per night.
Additional people:  $4/night for each additional person ages 3 and up
Two night minimum on weekends with advance reservations.
No tent camping, campfires, or generators.
We allow pets in the RV Park, but please keep them on a leash.

Holiday Rates: including Spring Break, Memorial Day Weekend, July 4th, Labor Day Weekend, Thanksgiving, and Christmas:   RV's $5 extra each night.
Additional people:  $5/night for each additional person ages 3 and up during holiday stays.

Winter Texans:
Monthly rates from October through April at our RV Park are $350 per month for up to 2 people plus $25 per person per month for over 2 people.

Smoking Policy:
Smoking outdoors only.  If you or anyone with you choses to smoke inside the units, your credit card will be charged one night base rate.  Please abide by the rules to help keep our resort nice for everyone.

Pet Policy:
We are sorry we are unable to accommodate pets in our condos, cabins or lake house.  Guests  staying at our RV park, may have pets if kept on a leash.  If a pet is allowed in the room, your credit card will be charged $50.

Refund Policy: 
Cancellations must be received 14 days prior to your arrival date -- 30 days prior for a multi-family unit -- 60 days for those booking 3 or more units (family reunions).  A 10% cancellation fee will be deducted from all refunds.

Directions to Heart of Texas Lake Resort:

From Marble Falls, go west about 9 miles on RR 1431 to Kingsland.  Before you cross the lake, turn right on RR 2342.  Follow RR 2342 to a stop sign.  At the stop sign, go straight for 1 mile.  You will see our sign on the left at CR 118.  Turn left and go 1.3 miles.  Turn right at another of our signs on Clen Oak Pkwy.  You will find us just up the road on the left.

From Burnet at the intersection of Hwy 29 and Hwy 281, go west on Hwy 29 exactly 2 miles.  You will turn left on 3509 which is right before the Exxon station on the left.  Go 8 miles until you come to a "T" in the road.  Turn left on Park Road 4 for about 50 yards, you will then see our sign on the right at CR 118.  Turn right on CR 118 and go 1.3 miles.  Turn right at another of our signs on Clen Oak Pkwy.  You will find us just up the road on the left.

From Llano, go east on Hwy 29 toward Burnet.  After the Inks Lake Bridge, go about 2 miles and turn right on Park Road 4.  Go about 6 miles and you will see our sign on the right at CR 118.  Turn right on CR 118 and go 1.3 miles.  Turn right at another of our signs on Clen Oak Pkwy.  You will find us just up the road on the left.
